Water Day with Cheryl and Brody

After we left the zoo, we decided to drive down the road and take our two hot and sweaty little boys to the mini water park. We attempted to feed them first, but once my son spotted the water, food was out of the question. He just wanted to play in the "wa-wa". Eli got up first, and Brody, who was trying to be a good boy and eat his food like his Mommy wanted to, eventually succumbed to peer pressure and followed Eli to the "wa-wa."

Our two boys had a BLAST! They ran back and forth, splashed, jumped, laughed, and played super hard. Cheryl and I had a hard time keeping up with both of them. The area was not crowded at all this time so Brody and Eli were able to do a lot more than the last time they were here.

About fifteen minutes after they entered the water, Eli came to me and said "Eeeet". The little man finally got hungry enough that food took precedence over water! Brody came over and they both enjoyed a little snack before going full steam again.

They made their way over to the little playground equipment and started playing there, but after a few minutes I could tell that Eli was beginning to get cranky and tired. It was time for us to go home...

We loaded our boys in our cars, cranked the air conditioners up to high, and took one last picture together. Two tired little boys, two tired mommies, and one wonderful day spent together! I can't wait until we do it again!
