Avery's Pinkalicious 3rd Birthday

The last Saturday of my spring break, Eli and I went to my friend Sarah's little girl's 3rd birthday party. She's also my goddaughter :) I can't believe she's already 3! Avery is obsessed with pink and anytime you asked her what kind of party she wanted to have she'd say, "You come to my pinky party?" Well, Sarah took that love of pink and ran with it and threw Avery a PRECIOUS birthday party based on the book Pinkalicious. If you have kids, this is such a cute book to read to them! All of the decorations and food were deliciously pink and they looked so great!

In the story, the characters develop "Pinkititus" and the only cure for it is to eat something green, so Sarah made sure to include some green food for all the guests in case they developed this rare syndrome :)

They're both going to kindergarten next year so Sarah and I are hoping they get in the same class :)

Sarah and Avery
Y'all, Sarah is just so gorgeous...like a super mom/model :)

Avery and her daddy, Brandon

Sarah had all the kids write their names on slips of paper and put them in a bowl for a book drawing. Then Avery picked one of the kids' names.

Eli won but he was okay with Sarah giving the book to a girl instead :)

After we had stuffed ourselves, it was time to sing Happy Birthday to the birthday girl.

My sweet friend's precious family

After eating birthday cake, Avery couldn't wait to open her birthday presents!

Avery adores chapstick and always steals Sarah's, so I made sure to include some of her very own in our gift to her. She wanted to use it right away. Then she proceeded to share it with everyone :)

The last gift she opened was from Brandon's mom "Jen-Jen". Mrs. Jenny loves art and has really gotten into Zentangles. She gave Avery four really beautiful pieces of her Zentangle doodles that she'd been working on. They looked awesome!

It was a fun morning celebrating this sassy little girl. I can't wait to watch her grow up :) Happy 3rd Birthday, Avery! We love you!
