Our next visitors were Aunt Lisa and Uncle David from Tennessee. They came in to visit all the family down here for a couple of days, so Sunday we went to Mamaw and Papaw's house for some lunch. Mamaw cooked a ham that was so good and all the side dishes were incredibly yummy! I made strawberry cheesecake ice cream for dessert and oooh was it rich! After stuffing our bellies full of yummy food, we headed outside so Eli could show them his t-ball skills. I am so excited about him starting t-ball this year :)
I told him to make a baseball face and this is what I got...
Then I told him to make an exicted face :)
Aunt Lisa and Eli
Aunt Lisa, Zue-Zue, and Eli all settled down to play "Hi-Ho Cherry-O" while the rest of us talked and visited.
The next morning, Aunt Lisa and Addi came over to swim with us. We all thought Addi was going to be fearless when it came to the water, but this particular day she didn't enjoy it at all. She wouldn't let go of whoever was holding her for no reason at all. She did eventually start to smile though; it just took her a little while.
The kids really got a kick out of "pushing" Aunt Lisa into the pool. I loved watching their reactions after she fell in.
Before we knew it, it was time for Eli and Addi to eat some lunch and take a nap. We said goodbye to Aunt Lisa and told her we'd see her again soon. I'm glad we had a great visit with her and with Uncle David!
