I need to backtrack a little bit so we're all caught up from our Christmas festivities...
We had a wonderful Christmas morning despite the foul weather we had that day. After opening all our gifts, playing with most of them, and eating some yummy food, it was time for Eli to take a nap. I took one for the team and napped with him :) After he woke up, it was time to play with the A.R. Drone helicopter that E gave him for Christmas.
This toy is like a little boy's dream! It's controlled by an app on your phone or iPad and it records and takes video of what it sees during its flight. It's pretty advanced but between all three of them they were able to get it flying. Eli thought it was so cool!
Grandpa E had to leave the next day so the rest of the night he and Eli played, read books, and had fun just being together. We had such a great time with Grandpa E and we can't wait to see him again!
