He and E started their day playing with his Mega Lego blocks. They built lots of bridges and skyscrapers. Eli was very impressed with E's building skills.
Then Eli wanted to show E just how much playing on the couch can be...especially when the static electricity makes your hair stands up!
Look at my little man cheesing :)
While the boys were playing blocks, I decided to make us some breakfast. I used The Idea Room's recipe for Sour Cream Blueberry muffins and they were D-E-L-I-C-I-O-U-S! Go here for the recipe. It's a keeper for sure!
Little man really enjoyed them. As soon as they came out of the oven, Eli kept saying, "Bite!"
After breakfast, E and Eli looked at some pictures on E's phone. Eli obviously found something he liked and decided to give it a kiss.
We went to Eli's room to get dressed for the day and Josh showed Eli some fun things you could do with hangers. Earrings anyone??
The weather was so beautiful outside, so we all went out to play in the yard. Eli started riding in his Tot Rod, but when he was finished he stood up and the seat went with him! He walked around for several minutes with the seat still attached to his waist. It was quite humorous!
Then Eli got a little jealous of E's new truck, so he thought he should take it for a test drive. Mommy ruined it for him when I informed him he was way too little to drive. What a spoiler! He did have fun pretend driving though!
Later that day, we went to Wal-Mart and E bought Eli a Little Tikes basketball goal, baseball tee, and a potty chair. Eli was so excited about all of his new stuff! Then we went to downtown Natchez and enjoyed some coffee at the Natchez Coffee Company. Eli had tons of fun running around the big room while the grown-ups drank coffee. I guess we're the ones that missed out on all the fun. Eli also had fun wearing Mommy's sunglasses while we went for a ride in the car. What a fun kid!
The weekend ended way too fast. E had a long drive back home so we all got up Sunday morning and said our goodbyes. We can't wait to see him again!
