When Josh and I moved to Vidalia, the first thing I did was get a library card. Am I a geek or what? I remember calling Josh to tell him about my morning and when he found out that I had gotten a library card on the first full day I had been in town, he just started laughing and making fun of me. Then he admitted that he had lived in Vidalia all his life and still didn't have a library card. Hey, a girl can't help it if she's always loved to read! I am still a big reader these days, but usually only get to read right before I go to bed. (When I was little, my parents always told me I could stay up late as long as I was reading in my room.) It looks like Eli might have picked up a few reading habits from Mommy. Mammy caught him reading in his bed the other day. What a cute little bookworm!

I love the next to last pic! So sweet!
Natalie loved books right away too. I have kept some of her first card board books like those...her first books...when she first fell in love w/books. They aren't in the greatest of shape because eventually she teethed on them as well, but she certainly enjoyed them and developed a love for books and reading. We plan to go today to get another dozen children's books to read. She enjoyed the last 12 so much! It's such a great love to instill in your children!
lol, so cute! My mother is a teacher and encouraged both my sister and I to read...to this day I think it was one of the best gifts she has given me and it's something I've been slowly but surely passing onto my own daughter. Her daddy keeps saying between her and I we will put him in the poor house. Pretty soon I'll have to break out the library card (I have one too).
