Have I mentioned before how much Eli LOVES D-I-R-T? If I haven't said it before, let me say it now. ELI LOVES DIRT! The other Sunday after church, Eli and Mamaw went outside to play and Eli found a dirt pile. He didn't move from that dirt pile for the next 30 minutes either. He was in little boy heaven!
He took a dirt bath. Great for exfoliating your skin, you know!

Needless to say, after all this wonderful dirt playing, Eli was one dirty little boy! I barely had the words "water hose" out of my mouth before Eli was running to the water hose to clean up. What a fun day we had!

Eli and Jonah could not have been friends at that age. Jonah freaked when he got dirty. He doesn't mind it so much now but is quick to find a place to wash his hands afterwards.
he's so handsome, amanda!! i wish we could get together in person so i could see him again! it's been over a year...sheesh, time flies! =) i definitely enjoy watching him grow up through your blog, but somehow it's probably not the same as in real life. lol! i'm still amazed at how blond his hair is these days! i love him covered in dirt....what an adorable little man he is!!! =) brody loves the hose, too....but not the dirt so much! the sand is "dirty" enough for him, and the whole time he is trying to dust it off his hands/feet/legs/clothes! HAHA! so glad to see an update of that precious little boy of yours. (though i definitely can't be talking....)

Drew & Eli would get along great! When I was looking at Eli's "dirty" pictures, I thought, "I would hate to have to clean his tub after that bath!" Good thinking with the waterhose! And his Mamaw must looove him for letting him sit on her while covered in dirt. So sweet!
