Christmas at Mamaw's House

A couple of weeks before Christmas, part of Josh's side of the family got together at his Mamaw and Papaw's house to exchange gifts with them. We went over there to see everyone and to eat some yummy food! I was a little late getting there because I was working on a last minute Christmas gift, and when I drove up this is what I saw. Brett, Sara and Shane's little boy, wasn't able to come to Eli's birthday party back in November so he brought Eli's present with him. They gave him a Jake and the Neverland Pirates treasure chest full of pirate booty! My little pirate loved all of it!

Eli was really happy about Grant being there. Eli loves having someone to play with who's his size!

I took about five pictures and this was the best one believe it or not!
We'll have to work on their picture taking skills, Jess!

Before we began all the gift opening, Sara was able to snag a picture of all three boys with Papaw. Aren't they the cutest?

This was Brett's first Christmas and he loved his gift from Mamaw and Papaw! He couldn't wait for his Daddy to assemble his toy, but assembly took a little longer than he expected and he crashed before Shane could finish it! Haha!

He is a clone of his daddy!

Eli LOVED his gift. Mamaw and Papaw gave him a Batman Batmobile. To say he was excited would be an understatement! He played with his gift from the moment he opened it until we left!

Grant got a painting/drawing easel. He loves doing arts and crafts with his momma so this is something he's going to love!

Sara and Shane gave Mamaw and Papaw a photo collage filled with pictures of their family.

Jessie and Will gave them a photo frame with one of their pictures from their Christmas session in it. I loved the frame! Jessie always finds really great gifts!

I tried to get Grant and his Daddy to take a picture together, but Will was being extra "sweet" this day and decided to not smile. Thanks, Will :)

Josh and I gave Mamaw a burlap cross for her door. She just had her shutters painted and needed some new decor for her front door.

It was such a nice day so a lot of us went outside to play and enjoy the weather.

I love getting together with family during the holidays. It makes me so happy! We missed not seeing Jim,  Jordan and their crew, but I'm glad we were able to spend some time with Sara, Shane, Brian, Jessie, Will, and their kiddos even if it was for just a day.

AMANDA!!! There is a picture of Eli kneeling down by his gift where he looks 8 years old! That shouldn't be. He's should still be a baby! Wowzwers!
