Eli's Newest Trick

The other night Eli discovered his tongue and ever since then, it's been hard to keep his little fingers out of his mouth! He's fascinated by that squishy thing in his mouth. Now you can ask him where his tongue is and his answer is always to show you by sticking it out. It's super cute...right now! He'll have to learn eventually that sticking your tongue out isn't very nice, but for now we're going to let him pass :)

The other day, Eli, Maggie, and I were out in the yard playing and I noticed that Eli kept sticking his tongue out a lot. It wasn't until I was scrolling back through my pictures after I had taken a couple that I figured out why. Just like any other dog, Maggie was panting with her tongue hanging out. I guess Eli figured since she was showing him her tongue, he might as well show her his. How funny and how cute! This kid cracks me up so much! I love him to pieces!

We had so much fun playing outside in the nice weather. Eli was full of smiles and I was able to get lots of great pictures!
