This summer has been SO HOT so far, but thankfully for us, there seems to be a pool everywhere we go. Eli loves swimming whether it's in an in-ground pool, above ground pool, plastic pool, or blow up pool. We're just thankful that we have one way to beat the heat!
Eli's not the only one that has been enjoying the coolness of a pool either. I guess they don't call it the dog days of summer for nothing. Maggie HAS NEVER laid down in a pool in her life. When we first got her, I bought her a plastic pool from Wal-Mart for her to lay down in during the summer. She always treated it like an extra large water bowl. I guess now that she's getting older she must be experiencing hot flashes, so whenever she gets the chance, she hops in Eli's pool gladly.
Eli doesn't mind; in fact, most of the time, he calls her to come get in the pool with him, but this was his first time seeing her in his pool. He was just a little confused at first, but quickly climbed in to join his favorite doggy in the whole world for some cool pool fun.
