Since we've been off all summer (YAY!) we usually wait until late in the afternoon to get out of the house since it's been so HOT. Hooray for living in Louisiana! We normally leave the house between 2 and 4. Coincidentally, that's EXACTLY the same time as Sonic's Happy Hour every day :) Friday, Eli and I stopped by Sonic during Happy Hour and picked up a drink treat for both of us and one for Daddy as well.
This may sound crazy-Josh thought it did-but I match Eli's drink of choice to whatever outfit he's wearing that day. For example, this particular day he got an orange slush since he was wearing an orange shirt. This way if he spills any on his shirt, which is very likely, it's not as noticeable and he doesn't look like quite the vagabond.
Notice one shoe is off? He believes that if you are going for a ride in the car, you should do it comfortably, which means no shoes. I took this picture because I love how he was crossing his ankles. He's so fun!
Eli loves being able to visit Daddy at work. Every time we pass the bank, Eli starts saying, "Da-da wuhk!" When we get in the lobby, Eli makes a beeline for Josh's office with a huge grin on his face the entire time. Josh was pretty happy to see us. This particular day had been SUPER BUSY so he was in need of a refreshment. Glad we could help, honey!
