The other day Dara called and said that she and Molly were over at her Mom's house swimming and invited Eli and I to go with them. Her mom lives right behind us, so we got ready and walked to her house. It was late morning, but it was already hot. Eli and Molly enjoyed a couple of "pop-pops" before jumping in the pool.
They swam for quite a bit. I tried to get pictures of them in the pool together, but corralling an almost three year old and an almost two year old is next to impossible. Molly is a little fish and jumps in the pool off the diving board, goes underwater, and does all sorts of stunts in the pool. She'll be swimming without floaties very soon. Eli is getting much better. We've found that putting floaties on his arms help out so much. He still loves to jump in, but we're working on making sure he knows to jump out and then in so he doesn't bump his head.
Molly and Eli got out of the pool after about 30 minutes and sat at the table and played together. These two love each other so much! I love watching them together and am so thankful that Eli already has some special friends in his little life.
Notice how dark Molly is and how white Eli is. He got his Daddy's skin and will probably always be white, while Molly looks like a little Indian princess :)

I have known Dara since I was a teenager and she was just a toddler. Molly looks just like she did at that age. :) Can't wait to see what Whest's and her twins look like!
