Eli's Last Day of Toddler Preschool

This past Friday, May 2oth, was Eli's last day of toddler preschool. Sniff, sniff, sniff! My baby boy is growing up so quickly! I remember how excited we all were when we found out that Eli was going to be able to go to this school. We are all so very thankful for all the people that made this possible, especially Mrs. Cathy! If it hadn't been for her stepping in and saying she could drive him there in the mornings, he wouldn't have gotten this incredible opportunity. He grew and developed so much this year. This school was so good for him. He loved going and we are going to miss it so much!

To celebrate his last day, Josh and I got him a little happy, something he can use on all those car trips we're going to take this summer going to visit zoos and family that live out of town.

We got him a travel Magna Doodle. He seemed to really like it! :)

Since my school ended May 18th because of the rising Mississippi River, I was able to take Eli to school on his last day. We got there a little early so I could take a picture of him on his last day like I did on his first day.

It's amazing to see how much he has grown. He's lost some of his baby fat around his face and his legs have gotten so long. I love how on the first day he was real timid and shy about getting his picture taken. Not so on the last day!! He's such a ball of energy and is SO MUCH FUN!

After I managed to get one good picture out of about ten that I took, we walked to his classroom for the last time. This time he came bearing gifts for his sweet teachers.

Mrs. Audley and Mrs. Shannon were the BEST teachers! We are going to miss them so much next year when Eli is at his big boy school, but we know that he's going to fall in love with his new teachers too (at least we hope so!). It was a wonderful year of school for Eli! We are so encouraged by all his progress this year and we can't wait to see all the new things he's going to learn next year.
